Michael D. Jones, Lewis Jones and Edwin Cynrig Roberts were the men who made the dream of creating a Welsh colony a reality.

They came from different parts of Wales - Michael D. Jones from Bala, Lewis Jones from Caernarfon and Edwin Cynrig Roberts from Cilcain. However, they also knew about life outside of Wales. Maybe this inspired them to create a new Wales on the other side of the world?
